Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow (A Poem)

Will you still love me tomorrow,
When it’s daylight, and the alcohol wears off?
Will you still love me tomorrow,
When the make-up comes off, and the party clothes turn into sweatpants?
Will you still love me tomorrow,
When you see all the sides, not just the best?
Will you still love me tomorrow,
When the anxiety overtakes me, and I’m hiding in my room?
Will you still love me tomorrow,
When I’m tired from work and not in the mood?
Will you still love me tomorrow,
When the fire dims, and our life keeps us busy?
Will you still love me tomorrow,
When my stomach grows, holding the life we created?
Will you still love me tomorrow,
When my skin is stretched, and my body doesn’t look the same?
Will you still love me tomorrow,
When I cry and hurt as my brain tells me I’m worthless?
Will you still love me tomorrow,
When raising the lives we created makes us stressed?
Will you still love me tomorrow,
When the nest is empty, and we’re alone together again?
Will you still love me tomorrow,
When my eyes crinkle as I smile and my hair turns grey?
Will you still love me tomorrow,
When our nest is full once more with tiny feet of our grands?
Will you still love me tomorrow,
When my body grows weaker, and I need your help?
Will you still love me tomorrow,
When you’re all alone, with only our memories left?
Will you still love me tomorrow?
